Empowerment begins by keeping your home practice realistic, and sustainable. Instead of overwhelming you with long routines, we collaborate to design brief daily rituals that easily fit into your current lifestyle. We focus on movements and traditional breathwork that offer immediate nervous system relief, so the positive feeling itself becomes your natural motivation. By giving you clear instructions and tracking your progress over time, you build the confidence to self-regulate. I view yoga therapy as a supportive bridge that works hand-in-hand with your existing medical care. I am not a medical doctor or licensed counsellor and therefore do not diagnose conditions. However, I highly value the guidance of your doctors, therapists, or specialists. With your permission, we are always happy to align our gentle physical modifications and traditional breathwork with their specific treatment boundaries. By respecting clinical guidelines, we ensure your therapeutic practices seamlessly integrate with your medical team's plan to support your healing safely.

I’ve learned over many years that clients often feel the effects of yoga therapy most profoundly during their second session. The first session includes a comprehensive intake and once we move into practice it is common for a client’s nervous system to be heightened as they are experiencing something new and are still learning how yoga therapy works. It is in the sessions that follow our initial intake where clients feel a sustainable shift. That being said, building long-term physical well-being, and changing chronic movement patterns typically unfold beautifully over a dedicated commitment of 5 to 10 sessions.
