Is yoga therapy for me?

Is Yoga Therapy for me?

There are times in life when the body and spirit asks us to listen more carefully.

As stress accumulates over time, breathing becomes inefficient, sleep becomes restless. Fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm, illness, burnout, or life transitions can leave us feeling disconnected and stuck.

Yoga therapy offers a different approach. It invites you into practices that support steadiness, awareness, resilience, and healing from the inside out. It guides you to make slow and sustainable lifestyle shifts.

Through personalized movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, therapy is designed to meet you exactly where you are, moment to moment.

Yoga therapy may be supportive if you are experiencing:

  • chronic stress or burnout

  • anxiety or overwhelm

  • chronic pain or tension

  • fatigue or low energy

  • difficulty sleeping

  • nervous system dysregulation

  • recovery from illness or injury

  • grief, transition, or emotional exhaustion

  • disconnection from your body or breath

  • a desire for more balance and steadiness in daily life

My teaching is rooted in breath-centered, therapeutic yoga practices that honour the individuality of each person.

I work slowly, intentionally, and collaboratively, offering practices that are accessible, adaptable, and sustainable for real life.

Some sessions may focus on grounding and rest. Others may include mindful strengthening, breath awareness, mobility, or supportive routines for daily life. The practice evolves alongside your needs.

At the heart of this work is the understanding that healing is not about perfection.

It is about creating conditions where the body and nervous system can begin to feel safe, supported, and more at ease.
